Pure Tone Audiometry (PTA)

Pure Tone Audiometry is one of the most common hearing tests used to determine the type and severity of hearing loss. It is conducted in a soundproof booth to eliminate background noise, ensuring accurate results.

What to Expect?

• You will wear headphones and listen to various sound tones at different frequencies.
• The audiologist will ask you to respond whenever you hear a sound.
• We will conduct air and bone conduction testing to assess the health of the inner and middle ear.

This test helps determine if you need a hearing aid or further medical evaluation.
